About Virginia Sullivan

Virginia Sullivan has been on both sides of the hiring desk and she brings her extensive knowledge and experience in the human resources arena to her Power Connections clients. Because of her own personal passion for helping others create their success stories, she enjoys immensely the daily relationships with individual clients. “Interpersonal dynamics are what drive me and give me personal and professional satisfaction, and integrity and authenticity in my work are my guiding principles.”
Virginia’s early professional history included several HR consulting roles in both Northern and Southern California, including a tenure with The Employer’s Group in Southern California as the Manager of an HR outsource service. Subsequently, Virginia took a position as the Regional Vice President of Sheakley-Uniservice, an HR outsource company in Sacramento, CA. After leaving Sheakley-Uniservice, Virginia started her own consulting practice until 2003, when she associated with Strategic HR Services in Southern California as a Managing Consultant for an HR outsource service, as well as a Director of Business Development.
After discovering that she had a talent for resume writing and career coaching through several volunteer positions with the Orange County One Stop Centers and Experience Unlimited, Virginia founded her own company, New Creation Resumes and Career Transition Services wherein she provides professional resume writing and job coaching services.
Currently, Virginia teaches job search workshops at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, CA, and is the Co-Director of the Employment Ministry at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Irvine, CA. In addition, Virginia has served on the Boards of Directors of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and The American Diabetes Association. Virginia was welcomed to the Power Connections team in 2012.
